Mission Accomplished 2012: Donation of 4.5% to FINCA

The year 2012 is ending, and as I promised months ago, I’ve donated a portion of the proceeds from my books to FINCA–specifically, 4.5% of everything I’ve earned. See my mission for more information.

It’s really been a great year around here, and donating something to a non-profit organization like FINCA is a good way for me to spread the good luck around.

FINCA is an organization that gives micro-loans to small entrepreneurs–normally women–in developing countries. Many people live in places where they don’t have much access to a bank, and a couple hundred dollars can change their lives for the better.

I owe many thanks this year to my wonderful readers, both here on the web, on madridinges.es, on Amazon and on Apple! Have a lovely Christmas, wherever you are in the world.

And by the way: this is only the beginning! I have some big ideas for next year, about how I can help more people learn English, and contribute to improve the lives of more people like Alba in the photo.

I’ll keep you up to date.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
